Enhanced Output and Optimized Design It all starts with the pickup, and this Relentless P Bass Middle Pickup and its redesigned cover will enhance your bass guitar's form and function. With help from the inimitable Billy Sheehan, DiMarzio fashioned this pickup with a curved top that matches the radius of the fingerboard. It also adds 50 percent more punching output than traditional passive pickups, thanks to a thin metal cover that pushes the pickup closer to the strings. This enhanced string sensing improves dynamics and makes for excellent midrange, snapping highs, and authoritative lows. With almost zero electromagnetic interference, this pickup plays incredibly quiet. Lastly, a 1/8-inch circuit board mounting means protruding screws will never harass you again. Go ahead and play your heart out — the Relentless will match your energy. Sweetwater tip: the Relentless P Bass Middle Pickup eats distortion for breakfast! DiMarzio Relentless 4-string P Bass Middle
